Rakaposhi is Also Known as Dumani Mother of Mist
Rakaposhi is a one famous mountain in the world.It is 7,788 meters and (25,550 ft). Rakaposhi means in the local language. Rakaposhi is also known as Dumani (“Mother of Mist”). It is ranked 27 highest in the world and 12 hihgest in pakistan but its more more popular for its beauty than its rank might suggest.It is situated in the Nagar Valley approximately 100 km north of the city of Gilgit. Rakaposhi was first climbed in 1958 by Mike Banks and Tom Patey member of British Pakistan expedition.

Fly to Gilgit if flight operate or drive to Chilas through Karakoram Highway (12 or 13 hrs) (480km). KKH Pass. - DAY 3
Minapin
The AC coch journey 7 or 8 hours from Chilas to Minapin 222 km is on Karakorum Highway along the Indus River. Overnight at hotel. - DAY 4
MinapinTo Tagafari
Trek to Tagafari Overnight camp there. - DAY 5
Tagafari To Base camp
Strat trek to kacheli it takes 4 or 5 hrs and through crossing Diran glacier. Overnight at camp. - DAY 06-33

Trek to minapin it takes 6 to 8 hrs same day drive to karimabad by 1 hrs drive stay overnight in hotel. - DAY 35
Karimabad To Gilgit

Islamabad if flight operate otherwise drive to chilas by 12 hrs driving, overnight in hotel. - DAY 37
